To the residents of the 13Th State
We need to get people back to work in a {NEW} "Rhode Island Industrial Revolution."
There are far too many OUT OF WORK INDUSTRIAL WORKERS who's skills need to be used constructively. Idle worker's hands become the hands which grip the trays in the lines of soup kitchens eventually.
Perhaps a legislative Mandate, for Interest Free
Government Loans (Tax payers money going to help the TAX PAYERS) for new Factories in Rhode Island, who plan to compete (Once again) in the Textile, Jewelry, Tool making industries as well as some that have never been located here. Stop the tax incentives for companies who only wish to "base" their offices here, and Mandate Tax incentives to companies who want to Hire The Workforce to manufacture the products which these companies produce elsewhere around the world and bring the jobs home to Rhode Island. Something MUST BE DONE to save Rhode Island's economy,,, even if it's a nearly unconstitutionally (drastic) approach to FORCE THE HAND OF THE BUSINESS WORLD to lend a hand in building a new framework of Economic Growth, spawned by laws which PROTECT THE RIGHTS OF RHODE ISLAND CITIZENS FIRST,,, and through Private Enterprises, by means of legislative manipulation, we can Right the state back on it's feet. As the 13Th State to ratify the constitution, (1790),, we must be NUMBER ONE in Creating the same Common Goals which began this great Nation. Rhode Island can again become one of the Most innovative and prosperous States in the U.S.
